Kleweno Project Featured in Kansas City Homes & Style October 2026
A Dramatic Primary Bathroom Transformation Blends Architectural Beauty, Custom Cabinetry, and Everyday Luxury
We’re excited to share that Kitchens by Kleweno has once again been featured in Kansas City Homes & Style. The October 2026 feature, “Sculpted Serenity,” highlights a stunning primary bathroom renovation designed by Sue Shinneman, CKD, that transforms an outdated 1980s space into a sophisticated modern retreat.
The renovation showcases the beauty of thoughtful design, where striking architectural details meet personalized functionality. A dramatic barrel-vaulted ceiling, accented with dark patterned wallpaper and sculptural pendant lighting, creates an unforgettable focal point. Below, contrasting marble finishes and a distinctive chevron floor pattern bring texture and visual interest to the space.
The shower features beautifully bookmatched stone slabs, creating a bold, artistic statement while minimizing grout lines. Custom cherry cabinetry with sculpted door profiles adds warmth and dimension, while separate vanities accommodate each homeowner’s individual needs.
Beyond the bathroom, the redesigned layout also allowed for a significantly expanded walk-in closet featuring custom storage, integrated laundry hampers, and personalized organization.
At Kitchens by Kleweno, we believe exceptional design should be as functional as it is beautiful. This featured project reflects our commitment to creating distinctive spaces that complement our clients’ lifestyles while showcasing timeless craftsmanship and attention to detail.
