Randy Sisk partnered with the company’s founder, Merle Kleweno, in 1985 and took sole ownership in 1998. Randy’s professional roots in residential construction and passion for excellence in functional and innovative design, the highest quality cabinets and unmatched customer service continue the 75-year Kleweno legacy as the most trusted kitchen design studio in the Kansas City area. Randy’s kitchen and bath designs have been featured in national home décor publications, kitchen and bath magazines, and numerous Kansas City area publications. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri. Randy’s signature is his hats and flair for challenging “cookie-cutter” kitchen design. He is also a volunteer for community service organizations focused on youth development.

Cherie Brown is an award-winning kitchen and bath designer with more than 40 years of experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and her work has been recognized for excellence with awards from Subzero-Wolf, Crystal Cabinets and local home décor publications. Cherie’s designs have also been featured in national home décor publications, kitchen and bath magazines, and numerous Kansas City area publications. You will discover how contagious Cherie’s warm and friendly personality is as she embraces your vision and space, and works with you to create a kitchen that enhances your home and lifestyle.

Genevieve Hamel has more than 12 years of kitchen and bath design experience and is certified by the National Kitchen & Bath Association as an Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Genevieve undertakes each project with sensitivity to the client’s desires and develops the vision of the space with distinctiveness and originality. Her problem-solving skills, design ability and her caring nature facilitate every project with the professional, personal, and technical support needed. When she’s not hand sketching the next gorgeous kitchen for you, she’s probably painting and drawing for the next art fair. Genevieve’s love for nature and animals is contagious along with her French accent!



Laura Davis has had a lifelong passion for design and thrives on managing complex projects. As the daughter of an architect, design has always been part of Laura’s life. Her career has encompassed both interior design and the design and construction of a tiny house on wheels. Laura planned every aspect of the tiny house, from the layout, framing and mechanicals, to the materials, finishes and furnishings. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in sports management. Laura spends her spare time on creative projects that include sewing, furniture refinishing and home renovations. Her other hobbies include rock climbing and yoga. Laura brings her high-energy and enthusiasm to the Kleweno team every day.



Sheila Dressman is the organizer of all things office and business-related at Kleweno. For her it’s definitely a family affair as Randy’s wife for almost 30 years. Sheila has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Kansas and has extensive experience in marketing communications account management for companies that include Sprint, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, YRC and more. Sheila is committed to providing excellent customer service and demonstrating the trust the Kleweno name has earned during almost 75 years in business in the Kansas City metro area.
